Parent Portal: Action Required Tasks

The yellow highlighted box labeled “Your Turn” on your homepage means there's an action needed on your part to continue your child's care.

How it works

1. On your homepage, look for the yellow “Your Turn” box. It names the task and how long it takes.

2. Click the box, then fill in or upload the necessary documents.

Click the box to open the task and complete it.

3. Submit — and the box is removed from your homepage.

Tip: The box disappearing is how you know you’re done.

Why it matters

• These tasks unlock the next step in your child’s care. For example, booking your consultation stays Locked until the paperwork above it is signed.

• Most take only a few minutes — the box tells you the estimate before you start.

• The sooner you complete it, the sooner your child’s care moves forward.

What is the “Your Turn” box?

It’s the action-required prompt on your homepage. It appears whenever Alpaca needs something from you — like signing paperwork — and always names the task and how long it takes.

What happens if I don’t complete it?

Your child’s care can’t move to the next step. Items further down your checklist stay Locked until you finish the task in the yellow box.

The box is gone — what happened?

It clears automatically once you complete the task, so no news is good news. If you have more than one child, check each child’s tab at the top — each child has their own “Your Turn” tasks.
